Today marks the founding of Gilji, a new startup dedicated to transforming how people find meaningful employment through AI-powered insights and network-based introductions.
The Problem
The founders experienced firsthand the frustration of modern job searching: applying to hundreds of positions, hearing nothing back, and wondering if the jobs were ever real in the first place.
"We applied to hundreds of jobs and got ghosted by most of them," said the founding team. "We knew there had to be a better way. Gilji was born from that frustration."
The Vision
Gilji aims to solve key problems in job searching:
- Fake job postings: AI to identify ghost jobs before you waste time applying
- Hidden opportunities: Predictions about which companies are actually hiring
- Network barriers: Tools to discover and request warm introductions
- Mental toll: Support systems to maintain momentum during the search
Next Steps
The team is beginning development of the core platform, with plans to raise seed funding and begin private beta testing in early 2026.
